As well as processing our own scrap metals at our purpose-designed facilities at Barrow Haven and Scunthorpe, we also offer our scrap processing expertise and resources on a contracted basis on our customers’ own sites. Whether its scrap machinery, rail, plate, plate iron or just plain oversize scrap – we’ve got the tools and equipment to cut it down to size.
We have a range of hydraulic shears to suit every job – fixed or rotating, mounted on one of our 30, 45, 50 or 85t excavators.
We have over a dozen hydraulic scrap handlers (27t – 65t) each of which is equipped with both a grab and magnet – making them the most efficient machine to move and handle scrap.
We also have a Fractum breaker on an 85t Komatsu and we have yet to find anything that it can’t deal with. Whilst it is infinitely safer than traditional drop balling it packs a powerful punch with laser like accuracy. Whether its solid steel, cast iron, concrete, or rock – the Fractum WILL break it.
Screening and bulk materials operations are handled by our range of mobile screens (equipped with over-band magnets where required) and our fleet of excavators (20 to 120T), 50T capacity dump trucks, forklifts and loading shovels.
